Welcome to the Chamber Music Connection!
The Chamber Music Connection, Inc., instills a passion to partake in and to preserve the art of chamber music in education and performance for present and future generations contributing to the quality of society and our culture. CMC connects children and adults, students and professionals, along with the community, together in the study and performance of this unique and influential art form. Open to all string, wind, and piano students, participants are afforded the opportunity to hear, see, and work with world-class chamber music ensembles in concerts, master classes, and workshops. Programs are primarily geared to the study of string chamber music repertoire, though they also include collaboration of strings with winds and piano. Based on their prior experience in chamber music and their age and skill level, participants are placed in groups of three, four, and five, allowing for an intimate learning experience. One player on a part encourages individual growth in both reading and musical abilities. All instructional activities are held on the campus of St. John's Episcopal Church, 700 N High St, Worthington, OH 43085 unless otherwise noted. |
